Teenagers are an important part of our society. Teens are energetic, creative, and most importantly, when they come to believe something, they usually give themselves wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, most youth are being led to believe in things that are false and things that are not lasting. Most are aimless and in pursuit of things self-serving.

We have a desire to see young people come to know Jesus; we want to see them transformed; we want to see them pursuing God’s purposes for their lives…pursuing the eternal! History records countless times when teenagers and young people have changed the course of nations! We believe that we will see teenagers transformed by Christ, and in turn, transforming others in Thailand!

We see ourselves reaching out to young people in three ways: Effectively ministering to the youth in our church; reaching out to the young people in Bangkok through evangelism efforts, and, eventually, reaching the youth of Thailand. Though we currently have no active youth group, we have begun prayer walks at Chulalongkorn University, and are planning to start a cell group meeting there soon.

2. VOCATIONAL TRAINING MINISTRY:
In Thailand, as in any country, many people make their living by illegal means, and, many have no way to make a living at all.

It’s our heart and goal as a church to provide training to new converts who might fall into the above categories. We are believing God to help us be able to invest in their lives in such a way as to provide start-up funds for new businesses or occupations whereby they might generate family income.

We will set up this program so as to provide around 2 years of start-up funds, with the understanding that they will be able to repay the funds, which will then be used to help others.

We want to see God’s people be blessed, and we believe that, in turn, they will be a blessing to the Church and the Kingdom.

3. MINISTERING TO CHILDREN IN NEED:

A. “The Milk Bank” – In our community, we’ve seen many single mothers who are unable to provide adequately for their children. Because of their impoverished conditions, they are not able to give the simplest of things to their children, including milk.

We would like to open a “milk bank” where we will distribute milk to the mother’s for their children. We will set this ministry up where the church will be the distribution center. In this way, we will demonstrate Christ to our community.

B. “The Toy & Book Bank” - Once or twice a year, we will collect toys to be distributed to needy children in our area. Good toys and good books help develop children physically, mentally, and, even spiritually. Again, this is a non-profit way that we will walk out Jesus to our city.

4. MEDIA SUPPORT MINISTRY:

Bangkok City Church will eventually have it’s own media department, as our pastor has a vision as well as skills in the area of media ministries. It is our goal to enable some of the smaller churches in Thailand to have their own websites. So, BCC Media will serve as a support and training resource for other churches throughout Thailand.

We have already had the opportunity to serve others by developing and designing the following websites:

D. Friendship House Church, Bangkok (currently under construction)
E. Bangkok Liberty Church
F. TAG Media Department
G. Nazarene Church of Bangkok (currently under construction)

We’ve also had the opportunity to offer training seminars to the following:
